Sailors for the Sea

We are thrilled to announce that the Dutch Youth Regatta has been awarded the Silver Level Clean Regatta certification by Sailors for the Sea, a renowned organization powered by Oceana dedicated to ocean conservation.

Sailors for the Sea is the world’s leading ocean conservation organization, engaging, educating, and activating the sailing and boating community to restore ocean health. Their Clean Regattas program is the foremost sustainability certification for all on-the-water and near-the-water events. Since its inception in 2006, this program has supported over 3,600 events, reaching 1 million sailors and attendees in 53 countries.

We are incredibly proud of our volunteers, sponsors, competitors, and their families, particularly for their outstanding efforts in garbage collection during the 2024 Dutch Youth Regatta. Your dedication and hard work have made this achievement possible.
