Dutch Youth Regatta Returns to Bruinisse in 2027

We’re coming back! The Dutch Youth Regatta will return to Bruinisse in 2027, with four days of racing from 6–9 May during the Ascension Day weekend.

Our first Dutch Youth Regatta in Bruinisse showed us that we have found a great new home for our event. The marina, the sailing waters of Lake Grevelingen, the facilities ashore and the wide range of accommodation nearby all proved to be a great fit for a large international youth sailing event.

And after moving venues, we believe it is important to stay put for a while. A great event takes time to grow. Instead of packing everything up and moving somewhere else again, we want to build on what we created in Bruinisse last year, learn from the experience and make the Dutch Youth Regatta even better in 2027.

At its heart, the Dutch Youth Regatta is all about youth sailing. We want to offer young sailors a regatta where serious, high-level racing goes hand in hand with having a great time ashore.

You can expect:

⛵ High-level racing on the waters of Lake Grevelingen

🌍 An international youth sailing event bringing together sailors from different countries and classes

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A true family event, where sailors, parents, coaches and supporters all feel welcome

🎪 A lively Race Village with activities before and after racing

🤝 Plenty of opportunities to meet other sailors, teams and classes

😊 And, of course, lots of fun and a great atmosphere ashore

We already have plenty of ideas for 2027 and will be sharing much more over the coming months.
